Introduction

The book is finally done! Hooray! We now have a product for you to use in your active job and career search. This eBook covers 16 different job/career avenues that we can take on this journey. We're aware there are many more; however, these give you a great start and a good base foundation to help make good life-changing decisions. Some of these avenues you may be familiar with already, some you may not have been aware of, and others you heard of but would like more information on, either way, we want our readers to be made aware of these employment options to get the ball rolling. We don't just catch you up to speed on these employment activities we also inform you on how to get plugged into the opportunities and become part of them. Knowledge of the "inner workings" of these avenues if you so desire to take their paths, you may even take the path of several of them to make you stand out in society even more and be a well-versed individual having many soft and hard skills to bring to any employer and society at large.

Modules

We then cover the necessary tools to have when looking for employment. We believe it all starts with understanding your values and belief systems first before embarking on the career phase of life. Also, knowing what natural God-given skills and talents you already possess to use those often in your overall employment life path. Using your natural talents and skills will make this whole life process so much easier, I'm sure many will agree. So, that next section in the book we call "Module 2" deals with self-assessment, resumes, cover letters, thank you notes, and having an elevator pitch on the tip of your tongue ready to pitch at any given moment because you never know when opportunity will arise. In Module 3 (each module is broken up into sections and in each section are chapters) we talk about ourselves, Job Aide LLC. Just a light introduction and slight knowledge of other topics. Then in our beloved Module 3, we address those whom we serve. School graduates, high school or college. You don't even have to be a graduate at all to gain knowledge, remember that. School graduates are in fact, one of our focuses because they are indeed our future as a country.

Those We Serve

Veterans are also dear to us for many reasons besides serving our great nation they have many skills that can only be learned in the military that translate well out here for certain employers. Transitioning back into civilian life can be extremely challenging for some but all of them should be assisted by us for a smooth transition, regardless. Next is our folks with disabilities and individuals dealing with mental health challenges who desire to be productive in society but may need to be at their own pace with some form of support. We admire your strength to understand and know what you struggled with and yet, still refuse to let it define you or make you any less productive! That my friends is to be admired and we honor that ambition in you. That's why we believe in serving you all in this category and assisting you with making your success in life a continuous one for yourself and those coming after you. We also speak on underemployment and how it's not a very healthy place to be mentally and emotionally. We understand that and we don't want you to just obtain a "job" only to turn around and hate it. Oh no, that to us is a disservice; however, the actions and choices you make to work are ultimately yours.

We inform you about underemployment in this module and in so, we inform you on how to recognize it, ride it out to a certain extent, consider some alternatives, and overall attempt to see the root of the feeling of underemployment because, after all, the problems may not even be your job at all. Our cherished group of whom we serve is former and current felons. There is so much to say about this group of ours but to keep it simple we all deserve a true chance of having a productive life after unfortunate actions. As mentioned, there is plenty to discuss on that; however, we love you and even many of us here at Job Aide LLC have been incarcerated before, we understand you. This module you'll find interesting and informative in many ways to help you get yourself back on track and earn money and your rightful place back in society. That's the best way to make your amends as much as possible staying on that path of positivity and productivity because remember it is not just for you but also those around you and those coming up after you.
